Child Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS)

Are Your Children Eligible For $1000.00 Government Funding For Dental Care?


The Child Dental Benefit Scheme provides access to benefits for basic dental services for children aged between 2-17 years.

The CDBS is means tested and the family, guardian, or carer must be eligible for Family Tax Benefit Part A, or a relevant Australian Government payment.


You can confirm your childs eligibility and balance amount by calling  Department of Human Services on 132011. Further information visit Medicare web site.


CDBS provides benefits up to $1000.00 per child over two calendar years, for a range of services including examinations, cleaning, fillings, x-rays, and extractions. Medicare benefits are not available for cosmetic or orthodontic services.


To keep smiles on young faces contact us to make an appointment for your child under the CDBS. You will need to inform our receptionist that your child is eligible for the Medicare, CDBS when making the appointment
